Flikweert Vision develops optical sorting machines for potatoes and onions. With smart technology and practical innovation, we help growers and processors automate their sorting process and make it more sustainable. Our systems assess each product for quality at lightning speed using cameras and AI. Both mechanically and the software of our machines are designed, built and tested entirely in-house. Our machines are distinguished by their compact construction, robust design and easy integrability. Because Flikweert Vision originated from practice, we know exactly what counts: reliability, accurate results and ease of use. Not theory, but a solution that works. Our story
Our story
Flikweert Vision is a family business, born out of agricultural practice. The founders grew up in the agricultural sector, with a passion for technology and innovation. From that base, they were driven to develop smart and reliable solutions for growers and processors. Manual sorting often proved time-consuming, inaccurate and frustrating. There lay an opportunity: optical sorting machines that do actually work in practice. Using camera technology and AI, an initial prototype was developed and immediately tested in practice. Its success laid the foundation for today's company. What started with potatoes grew into a specialism that now also includes the onion sector. Together, the QualityGrader and the Divider form a solid foundation: two machines fully developed with just one goal, perfection in their own task. At Flikweert Vision, we believe that you can only build the best by focusing sharply. Today, Flikweert Vision delivers smart sorting technology worldwide, built on agricultural roots and further developed with data from hundreds of installations. Innovation only counts when it really works in practice.
