Behind the dealer I Hexa-Pac
Hexa-Pac has been supporting growers, cooperatives and packaging companies throughout France since 1993. Operating from Compiègne and Dreux, the company supplies machinery, complete packaging lines and technical support for the processing of potatoes, onions and carrots.
The customer is at the heart
No two companies operate in the same way. That is why Hexa-Pac does not start with the machine, but with the production process. Only when the customer's working method, challenges and goals are clear is it considered which technology fits best. That personal approach, combined with more than thirty years of practical experience, makes Hexa-Pac an established partner for many French companies.
Collaboration from practice
The partnership with Flikweert Vision also arose in response to market demand. French processors are increasingly looking for ways to produce more efficiently and reduce their reliance on manual labour.
Hexa-Pac was therefore looking for innovative inspection technology that could be integrated into complete packaging lines. Flikweert Vision’s specialist knowledge, practical approach and short lines of communication were a good fit for this.
“The right solution begins with understanding the customer's process.”
A complete line for an onion packer
A good example is a project for a French onion packager. Here, a Divider and a QualityGrader are being integrated into a complete packaging line.
By cleverly combining different techniques, a more efficient process is created. The product flow is optimised, quality control is automated and the dependence on manual work decreases. At the same time, product quality remains constant.
Ready for the future
According to Hexa-Pac, automation and quality control will only become more important in the coming years. By combining their expertise in complete packaging lines with Flikweert Vision’s optical sorting technology, both companies are helping customers to further optimise their production processes and prepare for the future.
