At Fruit Logistica, we will introduce the Divider Select. A new version of the Divider, specially developed for potato and onion growers who want to get a better grip on their product flow during in-and-out harvesting.
Especially at times when labour and capacity are under pressure, manual sorting proves difficult to sustain. Product with too much tare, clods or extreme deviations enters storage, with consequences for quality, consistency and storage capacity. This calls for a reliable, practical solution at the beginning of the process.
At Flikweert Vision, we develop optical sorting machines fully specialised in potatoes and onions. More than 500 machines are now running worldwide in 22 countries. This practical experience forms the basis for robust, product-friendly technology that functions reliably day in, day out.
The Divider was originally developed as a high-end solution for industrial sorting lines. This machine, as of now positioned as Divider Pro, is industrially built and uses AI-assisted detection to remove clods, stones and extreme deviations from the product flow early. In doing so, the Divider prevents disruptions and damage further down the line.
From increasing demands from agricultural practice, we are now making this industrial base more widely available. With the Divider Select, we are introducing a version that is technically based on the Divider Pro, but in terms of configuration and software is better suited to use by growers. Focused on the challenges during harvesting, easy to integrate and fitting within in- and out-sanding lines.
“With the Divider Select, we bring industrial grading quality to agricultural practice,” says Martijn Flikweert, CEO of Flikweert Vision. “A compact, plug-and-play machine that helps growers keep a grip on their product to be stored during harvest. The chosen configuration also makes this version economically attractive for yard application, without compromising on reliability and build quality.”
The Divider Select is available immediately.
